Since Saturday is the day I attend my local Farmers Market, I thought I'd bring you a new Farmers Market each week until the end of the outdoor market season in October. The first market featured here is the San Rafel Famers Market in Marin County, California. Enjoy!
I just adore any city, town or country market! My Dh and I look for them when we travel -- always the best fun and food! I don't have a blog yet -- but you would be so very welcome here at Rosemary Cottage. There's always a spare cat or two around, the kettle is steaming -- and right this minute I'm making chicken soup -- well -- the stock! I'll make some cornbread to go with the finished soup tomorrow!
Brillant thought! I do love shortbread! Do you add clear sugar sprinkles for a bit of sparkle on the shortbread? Or perhaps a dash of cinammon and nutmeg for a spicer shortbread? Just being a nosy old cat! LOL!
Jan at Rosemary Cottage (who adores shortbread with a good strong Assam tea -- and milk and sugar in the cup first!)
How fun! I haven't been to our Farmer's Market once this summer. Ugh..I need to get out and get some fresh organic fruits and veggies! the tomatoes look awesome here!!
I like my shortbread straight-up or with a cherry on top (gasp!) I do make sugar cookies though with a nice cinnamon and nutmeg dusting. The nieces and I like them that way, all spicy!

Mmm...I think I'm going to pop by for lunch! I'll bring some of the shortbread I made, for dessert!

Hi! I just found your blog and I adore it! Thanks for taking us for a stroll through the flea market. I'm looking forward to your next video!
What a great tour. Sadly, our farmer's market that has been around for over 50 years just closed for good. :(
