Oh, how I'd love to say that I was doing something "Halloween-y" today! But unfortunately all the decorating yesterday revealed only one thing....the need for some serious Fall cleaning!
So, in my effort to fulfill my Domestic Witch requirements of doing something each day to embrace the season, I think I'll put on some of my DVD's while I clean. Disney's "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" and "The Nightmare Before Christmas" should be just light-hearted enough to keep me sane while I clean.
October has come in swift and sharp - the temperature has dropped significantly here, and although I refuse to turn the furnace on yet, I had a little space heater going in my bedroom last night. The cats seem to like the cooler weather though, and are acting like a bunch of monkeys!

Temps dropped here and yesterday and the day before I did run the furnace...I was tired of shivering...LOL!

I know how you feel, I'm never on top of my housework. Cold here too, the heating is back on.

Love the blog makeover for Halloween-Samhain! We've started putting the furnace on in the morning to take off the chill. Sometimes in the evening too. Yesterday we got the first frost.
The weather here has been wonderful. Have been cleaning house for three days and it feels so good. No more air conditioner here, all windows are open. Loving it!
I don't know, your broom looks pretty Halloween-y to me (it's gorgeous!) I think the movies totally count as well.
Do you have Tim Burton's version of Sleepy Hollow? That one is one of my faves! (Doesn't hurt that Johnny Depp is in it!) ;)

This is my broom - but not my picture, if that makes sense. It's a picture of one of three brooms I bought from a broom maker about 7 hours away from here, who made some of the brooms for the Harry Potter movie series. I LOVE his craftsmanship!
Oh, and Motheralice - Tim Burton is a god! Anything he does instantly becomes a favourite!

Yes, fall cleaning is desperately needed here as well.
It's been getting into the low 50's and high 40's during the nights here...but the days are still getting into the high 60's.
I LOVE THIS WEATHER!
I could live in a year around climate just like this one. :)
