Spring Flower Market

Welcome back to Famers Market Saturdays!

This is the first in my weekly posts about Farmers Markets going on all around the continent (and some off-continent too!) These posts are designed to inspire you to attend your own local Farmers Market and enjoy the wonderful food and flora grown in your neighbourhood.

I will be posting a new market each Saturday (or Sunday if I've been lazy...) Do enjoy, and get out there and support your local growers!

Our first market is the Detroit Flower Market - set to run this year on May 16th (so you have time to plan to be there!)

Wishing you a very Blessed Beltane! Going out to the flea market tomorrow and hope to find the fruits and veggies there too. So hoping to find something to plant in pots while we are in SC. And Rue, you are not lazy!

I love Saturday morning Farmers' Markets. Our local market will soon be moving from an old historic downtown building into a larger warehouse-type space. More room but I fear a loss of character :/

Rue that's a FABULOUS idea!! We always visit our local markets but that's the whole way of life here in France. There is a farmer's market going on somewhere every day of the week in my area - and even in the major cities there are markets with some direct producers, and others who sell on.
MMMMM - nothing like Fresh and Local!!
