All of the essentials indeed. I added a little Kahlua to my festiveness tonight. Oh, and I have glasses just like those. :)

yup, that's all the essentials, for us we sub an excited 4 year old in for the helpful kitties, next year it will be helpful excited 5 year old and someone to run ornament interference for the almost 1 year old and I'll be able to enjoy a nice serving of booze and egg nog, or maybe just a small glass of baileys...

I adore Christmas trees and all the trimmings! Helpful cats only enhance the experience. Cats march to the beat of a different drummer, and I love them for it.

Egg Nog and spirits! Ahhhhh!

Blessings and happy season!

Yes, nothing like cats, tissue paper and breakable ornaments!

My overly-helpful cats were banished from the equation this year!

My wee tree is trimmed and packages are piling up under it. This sight is one of my favorite things about the season. I love giving gifts.

ROFL Yeah I had eggnpg after we trimmed the tree too. But mine was a virgin, mostly because I am out of rum :P I had the Jack Daniels brand Vanilla Spice Eggnog. I put our tree hunt up on my blog the other day but I am holding the finished tree photo until Wordless Wednesday. :)

Wow, would I ever love to be able to indulge in the rum and egg nog mmmmmm :)
Our tree trimming is going great. With a 2 year old in the house we just get to keep redecorating it over and over again so the fun never ends LOL:)

Bwahahahaha...

I suppose that putting the rum in the nog *does* taste better... but I totally would have had to have a few straight sips after driving home in a blizzard... @_@

I LOVE your helpful cats! My kitties are helpful like that too... ^-^

Hope you're having an awesome weekend!

xoxo

I love Rum and eggnog, with ground nutmeg and a cinnamon stick or candy cane for garnish.
Awe the Winter holidays.

My house is small so all I have room for is a table top Christmas tree. I am so incredibly lazy that I take the star off the top and put the whole thing...lights, ornaments and garland...in a black garbage bag and hang it up in the upstairs closet. Then, all I have to do is take it out and stick the star on the top. I do hope to get more in the mood and decorate a bit more.

The tree is up and trying to finish up the candy. I do believe that things might just get done a little faster if I had put a little of that Baileys in my coffee this morning.

(((HUGS)))

I think Christmas was actually meant for kitties with all the wrapping paper and tree ornaments that are really "toys" made just for them :) I love the photos

No holiday tree here yet. Tomorrow looks promising, though. And while I don't kitties, I do have a helpful doggie, spouse too and I think a rum run will be in order too!

Love the snowman ornament.
Our tree is coming along quite nicely. It is sorta like a charlie brown tree but so cute!
Blessings on your and your tree this yule season!

My tree trimming would have been a hell of a lot more fun with booze! As usual, it started out as a family thing, but after about 30 minutes the boys grew bored and left momma with the rest. Yup, next year I'm bringin on the booze fo sho!

p.s. I snagged one of your buttons and would love if you'd snag one of mine : )

Hey lady! =D

Yes, my neck has indeed improved. Thanks for your well wishes! ^-^

I got my baking done, and the sugar cookies were super tasty... In fact, there aren't any left... @_@

I never get everything done that I want to before I head back to work, but I figure it gives me something to do 'tomorrow'. ^-^

Hope you're having a lovely day!

XOXO
