Draw for The Garden Dreaming Giveaway

The winner of the Garden Giveaway draw is...Ms. Smirk from Under the Autumn Moon!  Please contact me at RueAndHyssop (at) gmail (dot) com with your mailing address and I'll send the parcel out to you.  Please respond by Sunday, February 20th.

Thanks to all who entered and stay tuned for a new giveaway in March!

Hope some of you are starting to get a bit of thaw from this long Winter.  We finally saw some sun yesterday, and the temperatures have risen enough to melt some of the snow.  I'm itching to get at my garden, but for now have to be content with growing cat grass for the felines, and a small pot of catnip which has little green dots just poking through the soil.

I do hope you all have a lovely Valentine's Day.  I know it's a bit of a Hallmark holiday - but who doesn't love a little (or a lot) of chocolate and flowers now and then?  Either way, enjoy your day!

Only one snow day in my part of Texas. The kids were thrilled as itis not a gaurentee of snow each year.

I too cannot wait to get outside and explore my yard adn garden. I am going to try to grow lettuce this year. I have very limited luck in the gardening department, but every year I get better.

Hope all is well.
