Garden-Dreaming Giveaway

The groundhog has let loose his prophesy.  No shadow.  Spring is on it's way.  My prediction:  it will still take 6 weeks to get here.

Judging from the tweets, FB updates and blog posts regarding the storms hitting most of North America, I have to say that the groundhog is a bit off his game.  However - the sun is trying desperately to come out here, and I am about to haul out my fire pit to have a little Imbolc marshmallow roast, so I'm not going to complain.

I've also been daydreaming of all the lovely things I will plant this year in the garden.  And I know I'm not the only one garden-dreaming.  So - as a little boost to your Spring fantasies, I'm going to have a giveaway.  Up for grabs is a copy of "The Real Witches' Garden" by Kate West, some herb seeds from Saltspring Seeds, and a couple other garden goodies that will be a surprise!

As always - all you have to do to get your name thrown in the hat is to be (or become) a follower of this blog.  I will draw the name of the winner on Valentine's Day, February 14th.

Good luck and happy garden-dreaming!

Just wanted to say I love the new look here...a touch of Spring. I would love to enter your giveaway, but being that I no longer have my magical garden, it wouldn't be fair, so I will not enter. Just stopping by to say Happy Imbolc, and let's hope the groundhog is right.

That book looks awesome! A perfect Imbolc offering. Here in Florida it's gloomy, but my candles burn bright and there's a pot of daffodils on my porch.

I love this giveaway idea! Garden planning is one of my favourite things to do in the winter months. It may be sunny and warm here but it's still winter and I must be patient to plant any crops. :) Blessed be, Rue.

Hi Rue,

Isn't the cover of the book just magical? I fell in love with it when I saw it on your blog this morning. :) Thanks for the chance to win the book -- what a great advice to start garden-dreaming. Here in Munich, we have had quite a few cold days lately, but the temperature is said to go up this coming weekend. We'll see... ;)

Rue, please be sure to come over to my blog and maybe sign up for my OWOH giveaway if you like the door prize.

I guess I don't have to say that I am a follower, huh? There's even your button and a link to your blog on the sidebar of my blog. Hah! :)

Hugs and sweet garden-dreaming to you, too!

I was wondering about the groundhog prediction too! Six weeks sounds about right.

At any rate I'm thinking tomatoes and bell peppers. And a few herbs, still thinking on those!

Happy day. Blessings.
