Goodbye Reader

Now that Google has sent its Reader packing, I'm heading over to Bloglovin.  It gets some good reviews and makes life easier for me as far as keeping up with the blogs I read and finally allows me to edit out the ones that have been taken over by spam sites or simply have sat neglected for years.

If you want to add me to your reader there, the following link should do the trick:

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Has any other reader caught your eye?

I need to find one but have not looked much yet. Gotta admit I like the setup for GR still and want something similar.

Thank you so much for your visit. You are the first ; )
I still use GR. I look at my site most of the times and watch if my favourite blogs have updated.
Have a great day

I am going to give it a try. Just signed up and I like the layout. And being able to make the post read. I know that sometime I confuse myself if I have read them or not.
Wishing you an outdoor kind of day!

Bloglovin seems to be the one getting the best buzz these days as being the easiest to switch to.

I don't use any reader. Well, just the Blogger Reading List.

If this is a silly question, just go ahead and laugh (but answer it anyway ;-) Does using the other reader affect the way your post here?

Disregard my last, I researched it and found the answer ;-)

I'm swapping to Feedly. It just transfers your stuff from Reader and it's pretty decent. Has a nice app for my kindle too.

I switched over to Feedly and it was very easy just like the comment above said. But I have switched back to Google Reader for now because I really, really was not comfortable with the layout of Feedly. I was spending way too much time tweaking screens and there is just too much empty space and quite frankly, too many choices. I think I'm going to try Bloglovin now .... at least there is still lots of time to find something.

I've switched to Feedly, too. I had to spend some time tweaking it to get it the way I like, but I'm also adapting to a different layout overall and finding that I not only don't mind it, but like it better. Sometimes I can get into a rut with things because they're easy and familiar. Having my routine shaken up a bit turns out to not be so bad when there are good alternatives.
