Good luck with your Etsy launch....sounds super; can't wait to learn more!!Robin Larkspurhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04949175314401172368noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1981681052445415624.post-21156041245110330192011-05-07T07:15:33.288-07:002011-05-07T07:15:33.288-07:00Suzie - your story is so interesting! I'm really glad to hear that you have one coming back, but I would have loved to see the original one - sounds amazing!

The only issue I have with taking my products to the market is that it gets very hot here in the Summer. The producs include essential oils & organic castile soap (in the case of the cleaner) and oils don't do well in the heat or direct sunlight.

I do have a local gift store that is interested in carrying some of the product though - yay!Ruehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09521209734809361226noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1981681052445415624.post-14892885668845868062011-05-07T04:33:31.840-07:002011-05-07T04:33:31.840-07:00When I was a child, our town had the largest open ...When I was a child, our town had the largest open air market in the country (or so they bragged), Several large pavillions with multiple rows underneath the roof, surrounded by hundreds of tall, docks for wholesale. This part of Michigan is known as the fruitbelt. I LOVED going there with my parents when I was a child. .there was always a breeze off of the lake, and it mingled with all of the fragrances of the multitudes of fruits, veggies, flowers and plants. It was open every day, and always busy!

But times changed, people's food buying habits changed, and the market dwindled, then disappeared. Withing the past few years, a Saturday Farmer's market has sprung up, starting out very small, but has grown just in the past year. And while it doesn't have the magnitude of the original, I still get that euphoric rush when approaching the stands, in anticipation of the treats that I'll find.

I'm also looking forward to see what you have to share with us! Perhaps you'll find some sources that will aid you in your new business adventure, too! It is very exciting news!! Does your local market allow products like you make? Perhaps once you get into production mode, you can have your own booth at your market!Suziehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04050428036946794512noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1981681052445415624.post-56687565821775755872011-05-06T19:42:09.556-07:002011-05-06T19:42:09.556-07:00You aren't the only one that gets excited over...You aren't the only one that gets excited over a farmer's market lol so do I!
