Look - A Cat!

Okay, honestly?  I'm ten kinds of done with the holidays and just barely hanging on here.  Thank the gods I have comic relief of the furry kind, because otherwise you'd be hearing a report that a girl in Canada went crazy and tied the mall Santa to the hood of her car and drove South to find warmer weather with an entire squad of police cruisers trailing her.

Dexter gets into every possible thing and makes me forget my Santa-napping visions:

Daisy politely sits in any box she can find.

One perfect kitty paw is better than any present wrapped in too much tape.

Ahhh, that's better!  Insanity averted.  For now.

I hope your holiday preparations are going smoothly and you are finding ways to stop and enjoy the process.  I've not figured it out this year, but I still have a few days left.  If I can't find "the spirit" - you'll simply find me with a rum & eggnog in hand, hiding under the tree with the cats.

Cheers!

Cats are always the answer to life's madness. Nothing soothes the soul like the purring of a kitty!!

The idea of a rum and eggnog sounds wonderful right about now. I am getting close to done, but my energy level has disappeared. xo

HRH keeps me sane too. Except for the times she makes me insane.

Swap out the eggnog with peppermint shnapps hot cocoa and we'll be in the same boat. ;) Glad your cats have been helping keep the boat of sanity a-float!

It's a long haul, isn't it?? Eggnog helps. So does Grand Marnier, and Red Wine. Not all at the same time, though.

I was wondering where my Bah Humbug attitude was at. Guess it went north ;^) X.

Ps As a rule Christmas doesn't really bother me too much, but i will have to admit that if i hear Maria carie singing, 'all i want for christmas' again i think i may scream...lol

Well I have finally found the spirit... taken a lot longer this year too.

We are having lovely sunny warm weather - head on down under to New Zealand for some sunshine!

Love Leanne

Perhaps a rum and eggnog is your answer to finding the holiday spirit! Our kitties are our sanity savers as well, so we understand! Hope you come across enough spirit to enjoy the day. If not, there's still that rum and eggnog, my friend! :D

What a marvelous way to take your mind off the pressing worries of life and the endless hectic-ness of the holiday season.

These sweet kitties are massively adorable, and are wished - as are you, too, of course, sweet dear - a completely marvelous, serene Yule and Christmas season.

Hugs & festive wishes,
Jessica
