If You Can't Beat Them, Join Them!

Okay....I know I just said I'm not ready for Christmas. I know. But...but...have you tasted Starbucks holiday line up yet? I mean...Peppermint Mochas! Creme Brule Lattes. And egg nog too! I was at the bank today, and got sucked in by the shiny sign, promising warm things inside... I can't help myself. I'm a latte whore.

I'm still standing firm on the Christmas carols and the snow! Not yet!

PS - all you crafters and artisans out there - I know you have to start early. All that work - you'd never get done otherwise! Create away. I'll be hitting the local craft shows again this year, so I do understand and appreciate your situation. Especially because I can't sew a straight line, or use a child-safe glue gun without somehow burning myself. You are my goddesses!

I think Starbucks gingerbread latte is one of the things I most look forward to about Christmas! :)

It is those fragrances. .they immediately transport you to home, and fond memories. No matter that you are standing in the middle of a busy, people packed store or mall with the coziness factor of an iceberg. The nose gets you ever time! lol

Aaaah well, it's here, it's available "for a short time only", so you might as well enjoy it all that you can! :)

oh, the lattes rule ! I used to think they should keep some of the holiday flavors year round, but then we might loose appreciation for them. I would (and have) stay in line for an hour for a pepermint mocha! And I agree with suzie. the smell is what grabs you, even before your in the door. from there I'm hooked. I'm tempted to start some "experiments" with my home esspresso machine...

I am one of the rare minority that does not like Starbucks. I have one right across the street, but have never stepped into it. I love Dunkin Donuts...and luckily I have one of them here, too. And Christmas is sure coming early. The Christmas lights are up here on the streets.

I think I'll have to go against the grain here and say that I hate coffee. That being the case I have little to no reason to go to Starbucks, but the egg nog thing sounded yummy! And I did hit Walmart yesterday only to be bombarded by Christmas hot cocoa packets on the end caps. /gah!

And LOL at your "pie hole" comment on my entry today.:)

I haven't tried it yet. I'll have to see if the one here in S. Korea has it! It looks tasty...

Oh yum!
Starbucks is one of my secret addictions.
Thankfully we don't have any in my town or I'd be three times bigger than I am now. LOL

I understand completely... I am trying hard not to delve into the holiday spirit too soon as I am try to honor each one for their given time, yet some Christmas goodies are just too good to pass up.....

Was it you who posted about the pumpkin offerings at Starbucks in October? I have been trying to get out every day in hopes of going to Starbucks and getting a Mocha Frappucino with a squirt or two of pumpkin in it. But now I am wondering if they will even still have it. I thought I'd be safe to find it up until Thanksgiving, but now I'm not so sure. Although a Mocha/Peppermint Frappucino sounds yummy too. I am just hoping to find the most scrumptious Chocolate Ginger Bread cake again this holiday season. That stuff is to die for and I have been craving it all year long. Now you have me hungry and my mission is set for tomorrow! :o)
