Things to Ponder...

Why is it, when I wear white or cream, Dexter - my black beauty - always wants to cuddle? And when I wear black, Daisy - my grey, black and white kitty - gives me a nice snuggle.

Also to ponder...

Why does Dexter come running when I do any sort of ritual or magic-working, and Daisy leave the area? Does she find the extra energy in the space too much? Does he revel in it?

Ahh...if cats could talk...

I'm falling out of my chair laughing! And cleaning some Pepsi off of my screen, thankyouverymuch! That cartoon is too, too funny, and SO true!

I had an appt. at the dentist yesterday, and waited until the last minute to put my black jeans on. And I remembered to take the sticky roller with me. I'm laying there, getting my teeth cleaned, and when I sat up, I saw this little patch of orange hair. Punkin Kitty had given me a loving rub as I went out the door, and I missed it with the roller! Good thing that they hygentist has both cats and dogs!

And this morning, when I was making the bed, as I was pulling up the light colored patchwork quilt, that I just got cleaned, I noticed that it is already covered in long silky black cat hair from Magick, or Mysti! And there was some charcoal in there from Smoke, too. I gave up a long time ago! lol But it still gets discouraging sometimes. However, given the choice, I'll put up with the cat hair.

Love the cartoon. Exactly the way cats are. But the funniest one I remember is when my eldest was a baby, and I had the photographer come to the house. He opened up his suitcase and as we were trying to get my son to stay in a pose, I happened to look out of the corner of my eye, and there were my 3 cats making themselves at home in his suitcase. I couldn't help snickering. He handled it well, though. He acted like it was nothing, but of course, I know he wasn't pleased.

What a great cartoon! My dogs shed so much that if their hair was longer I could weave it... As it is they're working on making me a new softer carpet- the just can't understand why I keep vacuuming it up!

Too funny...and true!! Cats are truly a mystery...a wonderful, wonderful mystery :D I love that new header photo...so dreamy.

This is SO TRUE! Stormy, my white cat, rubs all over me when I wear black or dark colors.

Shiva, our black cat, sheds all over my white or light-colored clothes.

Gotta love 'em!

LOL!!! Thank you for the laugh this morning.

I think cats do this because they like to make us ask why they do it, no other reason. They like the faces we make when exasperated and they like being a mystery.

Or maybe they like to shed on us so other cats know that we belong to them, so keep off. rofl

Glad to hear that I'm not the only one this happens to!! Cats seems to have built in radar about these things you know... :0)

Daisy may be more sensitive to the energies present than Dexter (who, like you suggested, revels in the energies)

{Cute cartoon!}

I have a yellow lab and a min pin. Both shed more than you could imagine. I can't even sit on my floor or I will get hairy. I vacumm; it just doesn't help much. Right there with you, sista.

Hi!! I think Cats do talk... you have to find a way of understanding. My mom thought I was a pest... she..uhhh... had a block! Until one day, she say that the cards I "stole" was very appropriate to the reading she was doing. Now... she includes me all the time!! Thanks for commenting. I hope you send me a question at askthepug@gmail.com!! Pugs and Licks

Haha! I love that cartoon. I so know what you mean...and those are definite questions to ponder. Funny how Daisy leaves. Maybe it is too much energy? Wow...cats are definitely sensitive though. Quincy is a Selkirk Rex. I acquired him at a cat show (which I swore I would never do because all my others are strays) but he was a showing kitten that day and he won my heart when I held him. Lol! I also swore that day I would not come home with a cat but actually my girlfriend and I went a week later to Eugene to pickup Quincy and his brother. :) He's such a lover!! Lookup the breed, their coats are incredible!!

Joyful Sunday greetings, sweet dear, thank you so very much for each of your wonderful comments. I have one kitty critter, Stella, a silvery grey and white tabby, who loves to claim any piece of clothing or linen in the house as her's that moment it comes out the closet. Thus her fur blankets everything, no matter the colour ;D It's very cute about the way your cats are drawn to opposite colours :)

Many hugs & blessings for the coming week!

I found it interesting that your cats react differently when you are doing magic. I have found that my dog wants to be right beside me when I am doing my magic and when I cast a circle, the cats are nowhere to be found but as soon as I disperse the circle and energy they come running! the other night I dispersed my circle and one of the kittys, Rayne, actually came running and skidded in on her back to end up right between my feet! lol

It's nice to know I'm not alone here! I think we should all have shares in the lint roller companies! We probably keep them in business!
